Are you an experienced RN Labor and Delivery who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment? We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Labor and Delivery to join a leading healthcare team in Silver Spring, MD for a 13-week travel assignment .

Summary

• • Department: Labor Delivery
  • Shift Timings: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours Monday to friday 3 Days/12 Hours
  • Per Week: 36 Hours

Position Requirements

• Experience: 2 Years

Responsibilities:

• The RN is responsible for providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process, from labor and delivery through immediate recovery and postpartum care.
• Key responsibilities include monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, administering medications, coaching patients through labor, assisting during delivery, and educating families on infant care.
• The RN must be comfortable working in the OR setting and serving as the baby RN when needed.
• The facility follows an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) model with a Level I nursery and Special Care Nursery. The affiliated hospital operates as a Level III facility.
