Join Our Team as a General Cardiologist

We are seeking a talented, Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist to fulfill the healthcare needs of our community. Become part of a well-established team consisting of 8 physicians and 7 Physician Assistants in a supportive environment.

Our organization operates the Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility located in State College, PA. We are excited to announce the opening of a new, state-of-the-art bed tower in the fall of 2026, which will provide fully private medical and surgical rooms. Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Responsibilities: Cardiology consult hospital coverage (no inpatient cardiovascular services, only consultations)
• Team Composition: 3 General Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 6 Cardiology Physician Assistants
• Call Schedule: 1:5
• Facilities:
  • Device Clinic for Pacemaker and Cardiac Implant Patients
  • 1 Cath Lab
  • 1 Vascular/EP Lab
  • 1 Cardiac CT (anticipated early 2027)
  • 5 Special Procedures Rooms (2 Vascular and 3 Echo rooms on-site, plus 2 Echo rooms at outreach locations)
• EMR System: Epic (implemented in May)
• Shared Space: 1 Vascular Surgeon and 1 Vascular PA share the Cardiology practice area

Compensation and Benefits:

• Attractive base salary with a wRVU production incentive
