Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Monitor Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Monitor Technician/Safety Rounder you will

• As a Monitor Tech/Safety Rounder you will Serve as a Telemonitor for the

Avasys fall reduction program.

• Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
• Verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors.
• Immediately notify the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
• Alternately capable of providing walking safety rounds of high risk patients to maintain safety.

Qualified candidates will possess

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid Maryland CNA license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

required

• Proficiency on dysrhythmia required
• One year of Monitor Tech experience required
• Strong communication and organization skills required
• EKG Certification preferred

Work Schedule

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45AM-7:15PM, with weekend requirement
• Shift Type: Day
• Weekend Requirements: every other weekend rotation
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range

$19.64 - $25.65

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Tobacco and Drug Statement
