Licensed Vocational Nurse$25–$35/hr. | Full-Time | West Sacramento, CA | School-Based | LVN License RequiredProvide compassionate and comprehensive health support to students in a school-based setting. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will support student health needs by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, providing daily care assistance, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure students receive safe, effective care throughout the school day.Why Join Us:CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistanceFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Paid sick leave, holidays, and vacationWhat You'll Do:Monitor and assess student vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, while identifying and reporting changes in health statusSafely administer prescribed medications and injections according to healthcare plansProvide support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating assistance when neededCollect lab samples and assist with basic lab procedures as directedProvide wound care and dressing changes while following proper safety and infection control proceduresMaintain accurate and timely documentation of student health information and services providedCommunicate effectively with students, families, and school staff regarding health needs and care plans while maintaining confidentialityCollaborate with RNs, physicians, and school personnel to support student health and wellnessObserve students and promptly communicate any changes in condition to appropriate healthcare providersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized health environmentSupport additional healthcare-related duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:Must Have:Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state where services are providedCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationDOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance and TB clearanceStrong communication, organization, and documentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providersAbility to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodationsPreferred:Previous experience working in a school-based healthcare settingPro-Act, CPI, or additional healthcare-related certificationsExperience supporting students with specialized healthcare needsValid California driver's license and ability to maintain insurabilityPhysical Requirements:Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach, handle materials, and assist with student care needsAbility to work in environments with moderate to high noise levelsOccasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumesAbility to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodationsAbout Point Quest Group:Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
