Project Manager/ Wintel

Job Description: Who are we looking for? A senior Citrix / VDI Consultant having 7-10+ years of experience working as VDI/VDA technical expert and go to person for accounts team in reputed company. The Individual should be passionate about technology and would have worked as consultant / Migration SME to end client for short- and long-term VDI/VDA transformation project planning implementation. Technical Skills: 7-10+ years of experience in Citrix Infrastructure Strong experience in migrating on-premises Citrix form to another DC/Colo/Cloud Strong Knowledge on Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Commvault Backup, VMware vSphere Infrastructure Skills in performing VDI/VDA farm migrations including publishing applications in Citrix, Load Balancing, Configuring/Up-grading Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop, Licensing Servers, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers. Good end to end exposure on architecture, consultancy, architect role and providing Solutioning. Good knowledge in ensuring VDI/VDA security and compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Good experience in developing high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for Citrix Farms. Good Experience in setting up the entire Citrix farm and migrating the VDI / VDA’s to new farm Additional skills on AWS Workspace will be an added advantage Drive & implement automation & Innovations Plan Engage with stakeholders to perform the migration planning and executing the same Strong experience in various migration tools related to Citrix and other VDI / VDA platforms Provide appropriate technical estimation/proposals to business when engaged Having sound knowledge of ITIL practices like Change Management, Incident Management etc. Process Skills: Help team with critical technical know how Good knowledge on ITIL and worked on incident/change/problem on regular basis. Good in Technical Documentation and design process and standards Behavioral Skills: Must have superior problem-solving skills with extremely high levels of initiative and assertiveness. Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills Effectively collaborate with stakeholders, Customers and Partners Drive self-motivated service improvement programs as a key team player who is attentive to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment Identify the Gaps and provide documentation / suggestion faced during Execution. Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience. 7-10 years of relevant experience in Citrix Infrastructure.
