How You'll Make an Impact in This Role

• Prepare Precise Diagnostic Specimens: Perform expert embedding, microtomy (sectioning), and staining of biological tissue to provide high-quality slides that enable pathologists to deliver accurate, timely diagnoses.
• Master Specialized Staining Procedures: Execute routine and advanced special stains using state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to help uncover complex disease markers and guide personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain Quality and Data Integrity: Accurately log patient data, document testing metrics, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to guarantee seamless laboratory operations and patient records.
• Champion Laboratory Safety and Standards: Manage, handle, and dispose of reagents and chemicals strictly following established safety protocols to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Histological Tech credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
