Distribution Specialist

DISTRIBUTION SPECIALIAST Position: Hourly Pay Range: $16-18 This Distribution Specialist is responsible for the distribution of products for Allen Performance Resources; Quality Control/Safety; receiving, packaging, invoicing sales orders accurately; and shipping, utilizing all methods for product deliver for Allen Performance Resources. The Distribution Specialist is an integral part in the daily activities of a high-volume distribution facility, interactions between customer service, inventory, accounting, and sales that are related to order shipment. Accountable to the Distribution Lead for the daily, weekly, and monthly planning, preparation and performance ensuring every product is packaged, labeled, and shipped correctly. The Distribution Specialist will assist in the execution of quarterly inventory check counts and annual inventory count of all products within the distribution center. The Distribution Specialist will have to possess strong communicationskills, attention to detail, and organizational skills to maintain a fast-paced shipping center. The Distribution Specialist will assume and take responsibility for all other assigned tasks as needed. Reports To The Distribution Lead Job Brief The Distribution Specialist will be responsible for all accurate packaging, distribution, and invoicing of all shipments of products and supplies. Responsibilities And Duties Responsible for all outgoing shipments (domestic, foreign, and freight) Responsible for insuring proper invoicing of sales orders Responsible for moving and adjusting inventory Responsible for pulling and packing of all orders/shipments Assist in conducting quarterly random inventory counts Assist in conducting annual inventory count Ensure all sales order are accurately packaged and shipped Capable of resolving escalated issues including coordinating with other Departments Skills Attention to detail Starship UPS software Knowledge of freight quotes, packaging and shipping Microsoft Office Microsoft Excel Acctivate Inventory Software Appropriate written and verbal communication with all levels within the company Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Problem solver Team Player Forklift and pallet jack operator Time management Ability to lift 75 Lbs, regularly Qualifications/Education Prefer 3+ years shipping experience in a manufacturing environment Comfortability in being exposed to non-climate controlled environment High School Diploma or GED or related work experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
