In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience. We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.The Role Own, maintain, and evolve the data pipeline that transitions our surface data into real-time visualization environments. Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues resulting from software, operating system, and workflow changes, ensuring reliable delivery of visualization assets. Develop new tools, scripts, and automation solutions to streamline data preparation, processing, and deployment. Improve the usability and efficiency of internal visualization and presentation tools through workflow optimization and UI enhancements. Collaborate closely with Studio Modeling, Design, Engineering and CMF teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Support the integration of emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development workflows, AR/VR interfaces, and real-time visualization platforms. Contributes to the development of immersive user experiences and presentation environments, including interaction design for AR and spatial computing platforms. Expectations Strong software development skills with demonstrated experience in Python and visual scripting environments such as Unreal Engine Blueprints Experience maintaining and extending automated data pipelines, preferably involving CAD, visualization, or 3D content workflows. Advanced Unreal Engine knowledge, including Blueprint development, UI creation, tooling, data management, optimization and preparing for Verse. Experience developing custom tools and workflow automation solutions for technical or creative teams. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a strong interest in leveraging AI to improve productivity, scripting, debugging, and automation workflows. Experience designing user interfaces and interaction systems for real-time applications. Experience working with Apple Vision Pro, gesture-based interactions, or developing user experiences for spatial computing platforms considered a strong advantage. Knowledge of shader development, material creation, lighting, and real-time rendering principles. Strong problem-solving skills with an organized, proactive and collaborative working style. Experience within automotive, transportation, or industrial design environments is beneficial but not required. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a technically minded developer who enjoys building and maintaining the systems behind real-time visualization experiences. With a strong desire for self-development, they are comfortable owning production pipelines, creating tools and automation solutions, solving integration challenges, and continuously improving workflows. While visualization and artistic skills remain valuable, the primary focus is on software development, pipeline reliability, and enabling efficient delivery of real-time experiences across multiple platforms. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Base Pay Range (Annual)$142,100—$195,360 USDCompensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
