Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Farmington, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) General Location. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical floor within a healthcare facility. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on adult patient populations, including those with chronic and acute conditions. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), location requirements as applicable, and at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, or moderate sedation experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Emergency Department is preferred. Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult patient populations, including those with conditions such as ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric disorders, and cardiovascular issues. The unit utilizes electronic health records (EHR) with Cerner system, and team nursing with a pod system is implemented. Staffing is based on 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours weekly.
