Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through thoughtful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory findings
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and skillfully handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes managing medications, treating wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgery is preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
