Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Towson, Maryland - Hematology/Oncology Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified Hematologist/Oncologist

• Locum tenens opportunity

• Need begins July 20, 2026

• Active Maryland medical license required

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required

• Candidates should be able to complete credentialing quickly with no significant licensing, credentialing, or background issues that could delay onboarding

• Please include EPIC experience when presenting candidates

• Client prefers one full-time physician (4 clinic days per week) plus shared call

• Will also consider physicians available 1-2 clinic days per week who can cover one weekend call per month

Schedule:

• Clinic: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM

• Approximately 12-15 patients per day

• New patient consultations and follow-up visits

• One designated weekday each week includes inpatient oncology consults and overnight call coverage

• Weekend call: Every fourth weekend, Friday 8:00 AM through Monday 8:00 AM

• Responsible for managing oncology inpatients admitted to your service during clinic hours

• Supported by an inpatient APP during weekday daytime consultative services
