FirstLight Home Care of the South Hills is hiring in-home caregivers for clients in Bethel Park, Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Peters Township, Canonsburg, and nearby South Hills / northern Washington County communities.

This is non-medical home care. You work in a client’s house, not a facility. You help them get through the day safely, handle personal care and household tasks, and keep them company so they can stay at home.

This posting is listed as part-time because hours follow the client census. Part-time shifts are available now. Full-time hours are available as we match you to additional cases in your area.

What you will do

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility help
• Meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Companionship and a reliable presence in the home
• Medication reminders and simple observations you report back to the office
• Follow the care plan and show up for the shifts you accept

Schedule

• Part-time now, with a path to full-time as cases are added
• Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
• We match caregivers to clients by geography and availability
• Reliable transportation is required; this is work in private homes across the territory, not one building

Who this is for

• You live in or routinely drive the South Hills / northern Washington County area listed above
• You can start soon and keep the shifts you take
• Caregiving experience, CNA, HHA, or STNA is a plus, not required; we provide paid orientation and training
• You are comfortable in someone else’s home and treat clients and families with respect

Pay and support

• Starting at $17.00 per hour
• Paid orientation and paid training
• Mileage reimbursement
• Flexible scheduling

• Local office support in Canonsburg, not a call center in another state

Interviews and orientation are at our Canonsburg office. Day-to-day work is in client homes throughout the South Hills and northern Washington County.
