Experienced Pastry Chef & Baker

We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef & Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a luxury, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environment and possess a passion for creating exceptional breads, pastries, and plated desserts. Key Responsibilities Prepare and bake artisan breads, rolls, and specialty baked goods from scratch using traditional and modern techniques. Design, create, and execute high-quality fine dining desserts with exceptional presentation and attention to detail. Develop seasonal dessert offerings and contribute creative ideas to enhance menu selections. Prepare and plate desserts to luxury hospitality standards during service. Produce desserts and pastries for private events, weddings, wine dinners, and other special occasions. Maintain consistency, quality, and food safety standards in all pastry and baking operations. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and proper storage of pastry ingredients. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of pastry and baking experience in a fine dining, luxury hospitality, resort, winery, or upscale restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of bread production, fermentation, and scratch baking techniques. Experience creating elegant plated desserts and dessert menu development. Familiarity with banquet, catering, and event-style dessert production. Basic experience with garde manger preparation and cold kitchen operations preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
