About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Float ICU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Duration: Ongoing Shift: Days - Weekend Block (Friday-Sunday) Hours per Shift: Varies Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Cardiac ICU License: Active GA or compact license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Must float to multiple campuses. Experience in all ICUs including Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Transitional ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Must be willing to work in general care and specialty areas as needed. Must make up any missed shifts. This facility is a nicotine-free environment. Drug screening is required. Flu vaccine is mandatory; no exceptions or exemptions will be permitted. Description: The Pediatric Float ICU Nurse will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients in various critical care units. Nurses must be able to float to different campuses as needed. The position requires a patient ratio of 2-3:1. Experience in EPIC charting is preferred. Nurses are expected to collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
