Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join as a travel Speech Language Pathologist in Orlando, FL and provide skilled evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting. This role requires application of evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation to support patient-centered outcomes. Candidates will contribute to high-quality care while experiencing life in Central Florida.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Florida State SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in an acute care or hospital environment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and management, including instrumental assessments such as FEES or videofluoroscopy preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and hospital documentation practices preferred.
Assignment Details
- M-F 8:00AM-4:00PM.
- Occasional, limited weekend coverage.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide direct SLP services that improve communication and swallowing function for hospitalized patients. Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and continuity of care. Accurate assessment and treatment support patient safety and recovery.
