Hourly wage starts at $19.29 per hour.

Transfer Driver Primary Responsibilities:

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically via cell phone.
• Stage equipment electronically with key in lock boxes for 24/7 pick up.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Transfer Driver Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Able to use mobile transfer programs
• D.O.T. certification if requiredcan be sponsored by U-Haul

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, hooking up and disconnecting trailers and towing, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Pay Range is: $19.29 - $21.5 Hourly
