We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Events Lead will be responsible for assisting management of events and supporting facility management. This position provides direction in training and development opportunities to team members for and during events. The Events Lead will work with outside event owners, the Bryant Park Event Team, and other leaders to successfully accomplish these responsibilities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Oversee the interior maintenance of two private event spaces including daily inspections and cleaning before and after eventsAssist in developing, maintaining, and reporting on overall event calendar activities to leadership, team members, clients, and SFC Serve as the on-site contact for events; assist in establishing effective communications with event owners pre, during, and post events Assist in oversight with administration and a high level of detail is required in the organization of events Liaison with Bryant Park Event Team and communicate for event planning, setup, and operations During non-event days, work with Operations Supervisor to oversee event management ensuring everyone is prepared for next event, including but not limited to task assignment and execution of facility team's daily tasksAssist in coordinating and invoicing rentals for party guestsIn coordination with the Bryant Park Event Team, schedule and supervise the team members for each eventAnalyze event performance and prepare metrics presentationServes as MOD as neededAdditional duties assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A degree in management, sports management, business, or related field with 2-4 years of experience in a leadership role in operational management and/or event management preferredMust have excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skillsMust be a team playerMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidaysWell organized, efficient, flexible, and able to meet deadlinesAble to cope with many tasks at once and work to tight schedules WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time in various conditions, indoors and outdoorsWeekends, nights and holidays required
