Position Summary The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and the Endoscopy Units and both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Specific Elements & Essential Functions Endoscopy RN demonstrates time management skills, independent critical thinking, nursing assessments and technical skills required to care for the specific patient population of the unit. This includes admission, phase II recovery, and discharge of patients as well as assisting physician with any procedure performed within the unit. All RNs must be proficient in IV insertion (with exception of pre-admission nurses). Qualifications A Registered Nurse license in a compact state as defined by the NH Board of Nursing is required. Associate's in Nursing. ACLS and BLS. 1-3 years related experience.
