F-22 Data Processing Engineer

Description Flight Test Data Processing Engineers are responsible for pre-mission setup of the onboard data system recording systems, real‑time control room file setup, post-mission data products, and the management and configuration control for the mission archive. They aid in diagnosing and resolving problems that arise from the collection and processing of data. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience with data processing, data analytics, software development/scripting, database support, and telemetry. Experience with post‑test processing of recorded data and creating data products. Experience with communication protocols (Ethernet, ARINC 429) and data acquisition systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Desired Skills Security+ certification. Experience working in a Flight Test organization. Hardware and/or software programming experience. Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Core Data Processing Suite (CDP). Knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of IRIG 106 standards including Chapters 10, 9, and 7. Experience with data management tools, methodologies, database support, and IT systems. Experience recognizing and troubleshooting deficiencies in processes, missing data, and/or malfunctioning network systems. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. The clearance level is Secret. The position also requires a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Work Location and Schedule Onsite Full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The schedule for this position is four 10‑hour days with three days off per week. Extended hours, weekends, and rotations may be required to support mission goals. Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary range: $70,100 – $123,625 in most states, and $80,600 – $139,840 in major metropolitan areas within California, Massachusetts, and New York. Salary ranges may vary based on location. Some locations offer additional paid time off and vacation accruals. The position is incentive plan eligible.
