Part Time Warehouse Assistant

Northwest Respiratory Services seeks a Part Time Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Des Moines, IA This person will assist in managing inventory, shipping, procurement and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment and supplies. This position offers part-time hours Monday-Friday.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists with Inventory Control of productsAs new products enter the warehouse verifies packing slip accuracy with purchase orderStock shelves, rotate inventory items as necessary, report shortages to manager.Maintain equipment repair processes, including disinfecting, cleaning, reassemblyFunction testing of reassembled equipment and placement back in inventory as patient readyFill daily work orders in a timely manner for UPS shipping readinessReport and take active part in measured improvement in processes to reduce incorrect deliveriesAssists team to ensure Branch orders are pulled accuratelyEnsure branch orders are shipped in a timely matter using the most cost-effective means.Communicate inventory needs to leadership based on established par levelsServe as a product availability and location resource to Customer Service, Service Technicians, and other team members.Assist with clerical activities including filing and maintaining of various established data bases including equipment repair log and other compliance records.Develop and maintain a basic knowledge of NRS Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure ManualAttend annual training sessions and/or competency testsUnder the direct supervision of Director of RT assists with in house clients as appropriateAll other duties as assigned by branch manager.RequirementsMust be able to pass a background check and drug test.Attention to detail.Ability to work independently with little supervision and process orders in a timely, accurate mannerA positive and professional attitude.We look forward to seeing your application and the opportunity to speak with you further!Northwest Respiratory Services is a privately held, regional leader in the respiratory product and service industry.
