Job Title: Assembly Worker - Start ASAP

Job Description

The role involves contributing to the operations at a newly established plant dedicated to producing food for farm animals. As the facility is enhancing its machinery and equipment, the position primarily involves manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Stack products onto pallets.
• Assist with plant cleanup and warehouse duties.
• Maintain inventory of products and equipment being shipped and received.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift.
• Ability to handle materials and perform heavy lifting.
• Experience with machine operation and general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• One year of warehouse experience is required.
• Familiarity with using a pallet jack and packaging.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It is not a clean environment and can be dusty at times. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed, offering 10-20 hours of overtime weekly. The 1st shift runs from 6am to 6pm, and the 2nd shift from 6pm to 6am. The dress code allows for wearing shorts in the summer, but steel-toed boots are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheldon, IA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sheldon,IA.
