Location: Tyler, TX
Start: August 12, 2026 - May 21, 2027
Job Type: Full-Time
Caseload: Discussed in an interview
Pay: Hourly, $28+, depends on experience

Schools experience highly preferred

·       The ideal candidate will assist in conducting assessments toevaluate student's speech, language, and communication abilities, develop andimplement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, andprovide therapy services to students individually and in group settings

·       This position also involves collaborating with teachers,parents, and other school staff to support student's communication needs,monitoring student's progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary

·       The candidate will also maintain accurate and up-to-daterecords of therapy sessions and progress reports

 

Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists toimplement speech and language therapy programs for students.

·       Work with individuals or small groups to addresscommunication goals.

·       Provide support in the assessment and documentation ofstudents' progress.

·       Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionalsto create a holistic and effective support system.

·       Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP)meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.

Qualifications:

·       Valid TX Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license

·       Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or relatedfield

·       Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team- orientedenvironment.
