Full-Time Compliance Officer

Position Overview

EmmUcare Home Health is a growing home care agency committed to providing high-quality care while maintaining strong standards of compliance, accuracy, and professionalism.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support our compliance department. This position is responsible for reviewing, tracking, and maintaining employee and client documentation to ensure records remain complete, current, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Review employee and client files for completeness and accuracy
• Track caregiver certifications, licenses, screenings, and expiration dates
• Contact employees regarding missing, incomplete, or expiring documentation
• Maintain compliance spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and electronic records
• Assist with internal audits and preparation for external audits
• Review onboarding documentation, background screenings, and credentials
• Enter and update compliance information in company systems
• Communicate compliance concerns to the appropriate team members
• Follow up consistently to ensure required corrections are completed
• Protect confidential employee and client information
• Assist with other compliance and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in compliance, healthcare, home care, human resources, or office administration is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Comfortable following up with employees and holding others accountable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
