Quick Facts: Location: Williston, ND (1301 15th Avenue West, Williston, ND 58801) Start Date: 09/03/2026 End Date: Open-ended / As needed Shift: 24-hour on-call (7 am – 7 am) Hours per Week: Variable Employment Type: Locum / Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Active Medical License in ND, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Minimum 2 years of obstetrics and gynecology practice preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: Negotiable based on hours and call, with tiered compensation for 24-hour call coverage Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements upon request What You’ll Do: Provide OB/GYN coverage including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&C procedures Conduct inpatient care and rounds on OB patients Attend to deliveries and handle urgent/emergency cases from ER Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams to deliver high-quality maternal and women’s health services Supervise mid-level providers, nurses, and other healthcare staff Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies Participate in hospital community health initiatives and professional development activities What You Need: Valid and active ND medical license with OB/GYN privileges Minimum 2+ years of OB/GYN clinical experience Proficiency in delivering babies, performing C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and other OB procedures Experience with inpatient and emergency OB care Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience or familiarity with Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx, and Imprivata systems (preferred but not mandatory) About the Assignment: This position involves providing acute OB/GYN medical services at a leading hospital in Williston, ND. The role requires on-call coverage for 24 hours, including attending deliveries, performing surgeries, and managing urgent cases. You will work closely with hospital staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care and support the community’s maternal health needs.
