Daycare Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Byron Center, MI
Pay: $16-$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Daycare Teacher - Make a Difference Every Day

The Learning Experience - Byron Center is seeking a caring and dependable Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a positive, supportive school environment.

Our teachers create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, daily routines, and positive relationships while helping children build confidence and independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide attentive care and supervision for young children
• Lead engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities
• Support children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
• Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, toileting, and classroom transitions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
• Caring, reliable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
