Responsibilities of the Financial Associate include but are not limited to: Provides valuable contributions to the Claims team and helps the department succeed Enters and inputs claims into the claims information system for all prize levels and pays prizewinners Processes check requests from regional offices and customers Verifies accuracy of claims data and revises any errors Prepares information related to prizewinner claims Inputs claims information into Excel spreadsheets Conducts basic reconciliations Answers phone calls and correspondence from internal and external customers and assists them in answering their question/concerns Validates lottery tickets for payment using OLC gaming terminals Verifies federal and state tax withholdings Processes and opens incoming mail from customers, regional offices and racinos Performs other duties and works on special projectsWhy Work for the State of Ohio: At the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans.
