We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver to support Glendale Boat Works' operations by transporting materials, equipment, and fabricated components to and from customer sites, vendors, and company facilities. This position requires operating a flatbed truck with a 20-foot trailer, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with warehouse activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate a flatbed truck with a 20-foot trailer to transport materials and equipment.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the yard, warehouse, and job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and inspections.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured using appropriate straps, chains, and tie-downs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse or yard duties during downtime as assigned.
Physical Skills and Effort
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently enter and exit truck cab and trailer.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Maintain the physical ability to secure loads and perform delivery-related tasks.
• Pass vision and hearing requirements necessary for safe vehicle operation.

Working Conditions and Hazards
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent exposure to industrial environments, moving equipment, and vehicle traffic.
• Operate vehicles and equipment around heavy machinery and active job sites.

Qualifications & Skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Experience operating a flatbed truck with a 20-foot trailer required.
• Minimum age of 21 years (or company insurance requirement).
• Previous forklift operating experience required (certification preferred).
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with supervisors and team members.
• Prior experience in industrial, marine, construction, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
