Job Title CNC Intern Pay Range $20 - $25 Shift 1st: 7a - 3:30p Mon – Fri See What We Do Build Real Skills – Not Just a Resume This isn’t a sit-back internship. You’ll be on the floor, working with machinists, learning CNC fundamentals, inspection techniques, and how parts go from raw material to finished product. Key Responsibilities Assist with machine setup and production prep Load/unload materials and finished parts Perform deburring, cleaning, and part finishing Use calipers, micrometers, and basic inspection tools Read blueprints and follow work instructions Support tooling organization and shop flow Requirements High school diploma (or working toward it) Interest in CNC machining or manufacturing Basic mechanical aptitude + willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and reliability Why Join Us Hands‑on training in CNC machining Exposure to real production environments Opportunity to grow into a full‑time machinist role Work Authorization Wording Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
