RN - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Med/SurgCity/State: Montgomery, AlabamaShift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMContract Length: 12 weeksStart Date: 09/14/2026Job Description:The Registered Nurse Med/Surg position involves providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing the nursing process.Responsibilities:Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatment.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort and safety.Requirements:Minimum of 18 months experience in MedSurg and/or ICU required.Experience with EMR systems, Cerner or EPIC preferred.Current BLS and NIHSS certifications.Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of tele strips every 4 hours.Capability to perform wound care, trach care, and IV line management.
