Press Brake Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Your precision and expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of high-quality metal parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in press brake operations, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including tooling setup and selection. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine bending requirements. Load metal sheets or components into the press brake machine and position them accurately for bending. Operate the press brake machine to bend metal components according to specified angles and dimensions. Perform quality checks to verify that bending tolerances and dimensions meet required specifications. Make necessary adjustments to the press brake machine to ensure accurate and precise bending. Inspect finished parts for defects and perform any required rework. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Maintain press brake machines and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role. Knowledge of press brake machine setup and operation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Physical ability to lift and handle metal sheets and components. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
