Position Summary
Specialized Trust Company is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Service Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional client experience by supporting our call center operations and guiding clients through their self-directed IRA transactions.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently, and takes ownership of client needs from start to finish. This position plays a key role in maintaining service excellence, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do

As a Client Service Specialist, you will serve as a trusted resource for clients, partners, and internal teams by:

• Delivering exceptional customer service to prospective and existing clients through inbound and outbound communications
• Handling inquiries from clients, attorneys, title companies, and investment sponsors
• Assisting clients with account activity including:
  • Investment processing and walkthroughs
  • Contributions and distributions
  • Bill payments and account transactions
• Conducting proactive follow-up on outstanding items to resolve deficiencies and ensure timely processing
• Supporting fee collection activities
• Clearly explaining company policies, procedures, and account guidelines
• Providing general guidance regarding IRS regulations and potential prohibited transactions (non-advisory)
• Effectively addressing client concerns and escalating complex issues when needed
• Taking full ownership of escalated cases, ensuring resolution and follow-through
• Maintaining compliance with all company policies and service standards
• Contributing to team success and participating in additional projects as assigned
