Wound Care Nurse (RN)

Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando Location: Orlando, FL Schedule: Full-Time Pay: $36.00–$40.00 per hour Join Our Team! Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate and experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional wound and skin care services to our residents. Working alongside our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in promoting healing, preventing skin breakdown, and improving quality of life. Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor wounds and skin conditions. Develop and implement individualized wound care plans. Perform routine skin assessments and identify residents at risk for pressure injuries. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care. Assist with applicable MDS documentation. Educate residents and families on wound care treatments. Recommend appropriate wound care products, dressings, and pressure-relieving devices. Monitor healing progress and maintain accurate documentation. Report concerns related to resident safety, abuse, neglect, or infection per facility policy. Qualifications Current, active Florida RN license. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Wound care experience preferred. Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
