Cloud Network EngineerLocation: Martinsburg, WV Client: IRSDesign, build, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure across cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.Bridge traditional network engineering with cloud-native technologies, focusing on hybrid connectivity, virtual routing, and infrastructure automation to ensure responsive and highly available application performance.Design and deploy secure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing tables, and load balancers.Configure and maintain VPNs, SD-WAN, Cloud Interconnect, and other multi-cloud transit solutions.Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate network provisioning and configuration.Conduct root-cause analysis, optimize network performance, and act as a Tier III escalation point for connectivity and latency issues.Support in design and implementation of new cloud technologies and enhancing existing cloud technologies.Support on-boarding and migrations of new and current Projects/Applications in the cloud, cloud to cloud, or on-prem to cloud.Manage IPv6 current state and implementation plan with multi-cloud deployments.Provide engineering support within the IRS multiple cloud service providers to meet current and future initiatives, business requirements and needs, as well as future enhancements, directives, and goals.Enhance, optimize, administer, support, and analyze cloud hosting infrastructures, leveraging virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies.Facilitate the proper management of a multi-cloud environment (e.g., Public, Private, or Hybrid Cloud) that provides services such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
