Join our team and be part of something bigger!/ppPosition: Pastry Decorator and Baker (Morton Grove, IL)/ppReports To: Executive Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef/ppYour Role:/pullipHand-decorate cookies and pastries with precision and creativity./p/lilipWork with chocolate, piping, and fine pastry techniques to elevate our desserts./p/lilipPrepare pastries according to recipes and quality standards./p/lilipOperate mixers, ovens, scales, and other baking equipment./p/lilipAccurately scale, interpret, and troubleshoot recipes as needed with direction from Executive Pastry Chef./p/lilipMaintain the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and cleanliness in all pastry areas./p/lilipAttend team meetings for training, development, and updates./p/lilipSupport events and holiday productions as needed./p/li/ulpWhat You Bring:/pullip1-3 years of professional baking experience in a high-quality kitchen./p/lilipStrong hand-decorating and piping skills (interview may include a piping exercise)./p/lilipOpen availability to accommodate business scheduling needs./p/lilipExcellent time management and multitasking skills./p/lilipAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility is key./p/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pullipLift and carry 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally./p/lilipStand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)./p/lilipWork in extreme temperatures (cold storage at 30F, kitchens above 100F)./p/lilipAbility to bend, kneel, reach, and squat frequently./p/lilipStrong sense of taste and smell for quality control./p/li/ulpReady to Create Stunning Pastries?/ppIf youre passionate about pastry arts and want to be part of a high-energy, innovative, and award-winning team, wed love to hear from you!
