Overview
Physical Therapist – Travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,125 to $2,210 per week. Guaranteed hours 0.0. Shift: 5x8 Days (8-hour shifts) with a day schedule. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients within the physical therapy scope in an acute care setting; develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based PT interventions (therapeutic exercise, gait training, ROM, modalities as indicated)
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans to optimize function and discharge readiness
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and plan safe transitions of care
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, gait aids, and safety considerations
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with hospital policies and regulations

Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in California
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if license obtained on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
- BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
- ICU experience preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital acute care setting
