HVAC Field Technician- UAE

An active and transferable DoD Secret clearance is required before starting. Responsibilities Operate and maintain the PATRIOT Environmental Control cooling Unit on the Engagement Control Station (ECS), Information and Coordination Center (ICC), Communications Relay Group (CRG), and Battery/Battalion Maintenance Center (BMC). Use UAE Central Maintenance Facility test equipment to repair and maintain environmental control units that are evacuated to the CMF. Provide technical assistance to the Patriot Fire Unit and Battalion and support equipment exchanges. Support testing, operation, and repair of all Environmental Control Units, including commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) units. Interface with equipment manufacturer for follow‑on support as required. Coordinate assignments as a short‑term position located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Qualifications Minimum 6–8 years of hands‑on experience operating, maintaining, sustaining, and debugging HVAC/Environmental Control Units. Valid HVAC certification. Ability to work in extreme desert heat environments and lift 50 pounds. Preferred: Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs and living/working overseas.
