Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for a local company in Athens, TN.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues on farm equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, combines, sprayers, balers, loaders, skid steers, and other agricultural machinery.
- Inspect equipment and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Troubleshoot engine performance, transmission, brake, steering, and hydraulic system problems.
- Conduct routine service including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.
- 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, preferably with agricultural equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues.
- Technical certification in Diesel Technology or Heavy Equipment Repair.
- Experience with John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, CAT, or similar equipment.
