Senior Data Modeler, Enterprise Data Domains & Architecture

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in Data Modeling, Enterprise Data Architecture, and Data Governance within investment management environments

• Proficiency in SQL and relational database modeling for enterprise-scale data platforms

• Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling across complex business domains

• Experience with Private Equity, Asset Management, Alternative Investments, Venture Capital, or Financial Services data ecosystems

• Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Data Stewardship frameworks

• Strong communication skills for executive collaboration, stakeholder workshops, and business-to-technical translation

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise data models supporting funds, investors, portfolios, valuations, transactions, and compliance domains

• Design scalable domain-driven data architectures for reporting, analytics, and operational systems

• Translate business requirements into standardized entities, relationships, hierarchies, and data definitions

• Establish modeling standards, ownership structures, governance rules, and reusable enterprise data assets

• Support cloud, data warehouse, lakehouse, API, and data product modernization initiatives

• Produce architecture documentation and align enterprise data strategy with business objectives
