CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular operating room settings and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.Monitor and manage patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Assist in heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO procedures.Float to other operating room specialties as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of CVOR experience preferred; first-time applicants may be considered with prior Level I Trauma experience.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Must possess or obtain a valid Indiana nursing license or compact license prior to starting.Will consider candidates with a pending license if an Indiana or temporary license is in hand prior to start.Additional InformationCall requirement of approximately 100 hours every 6 weeks, including one call weekend.Must be available to work on 2 out of 3 major holidays.Shifts available include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour formats, totaling 36 to 48 hours per week.Free parking provided for all staff members.Work EnvironmentThis position is located in a short-term acute care facility with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care.
