Serves patients by reviewing physical therapist interpretations of patient evaluations and test results; interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; recommending options and courses of action to physical therapists; giving normal growth and development information; promoting wellness and health maintenance.**Qualifications**Essential Functions-Observe patients during treatments to compile and evaluate data on their responses and progress and provide results to physical therapist in person or through progress notes. -Fit patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, or supportive devices, such as crutches as needed per site.-Instructs patients and their families in appropriate exercise program and in use of equipment. -Clean work area and check and store equipment after treatment. -Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment. -Document treatments and notes as needed.Education Associate's Degree Physical Therapy Assistant preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
