As an Assurance Senior Manager, you will manage complex client engagements, supervise staff, and collaborate closely with partners to ensure that assurance services are delivered efficiently and effectively. What You’ll Do Lead and manage assurance engagements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to professional standards. Provide strategic advice on audit and assurance services to clients, particularly in the nonprofit sector. Build and maintain long-term client relationships, positioning McDonald Jacobs as a trusted business advisor. Lead and develop staff by providing mentorship, training, and opportunities for growth. Job Duties and Responsibilities Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the business environment, industry trends, and client needs, providing strategic solutions. Applies deep technical expertise and knowledge of emerging regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and deliver high-quality services. Specializes in a particular technical field or industry, using this expertise to provide tailored, effective solutions to clients. Leads and influences teams to deliver quality services on time and within budget, managing multiple assignments and projects simultaneously. Develops strong, long-term relationships with clients, building trust and credibility to become a valued business partner and trusted advisor. Effectively manages change and anticipates challenges, proactively developing strategies to overcome barriers and ensure successful project implementation. Collaborates with firm partners to drive business development, identifying new client opportunities and assisting in the preparation of proposals. Mentors staff, managers, and seniors in areas of expertise, fostering professional growth and development through on-the-job training and guidance. Acts as a dynamic and influential presenter, delivering clear and compelling client and internal presentations that drive business success.
