Skilled Chairside Assistant: Join Our Collaborative Dental Team in Brighton, MI

Cross Roads Dental is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to provide essential chairside support to our dentist and contribute to smooth, efficient patient care. This role involves utilizing excellent communication skills for patient education and actively participating in four-handed dentistry techniques. The schedule is consistent and focused on midweek operations.

Job Description

Greet and prepare dental patients for treatments and procedures, ensuring their comfort throughout the visit.

Provide professional and efficient chairside assistance to the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques.

Educate patients clearly and effectively on post-operative care, oral hygiene, and recommended preventative measures.

Maintain clean, sterilized, and fully stocked operatories before and after each patient appointment.

Accurately manage and organize patient records and treatment documentation.

Assist the team with various tasks necessary to maintain the flow and efficiency of the dental office.

Salary Range

full-time $22 - $27 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Standard Work Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Monday.

Core Operating Hours:

Monday (Alternate): 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Exclusions: No Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of documented chairside dental assisting experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.

Strong ability to perform effective patient education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliability and strong organizational skills.

Preferences

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in the state of Michigan.

Experience with relevant dental practice management software.
