We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. Position Overview: The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized instruction to support students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment, collaborate with staff and parents, and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation required by law and district policy
• Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with campus personnel to support student achievement
• Promote positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Valid Texas Special Education certification (required or ability to obtain)
• Experience working with students with special needs (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to helping all students achieve their full potential
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
