Primary Duties and Responsibilities Maintains employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees. Contact for referral sources & maintains positive relationships, resolves problems and projects a positive image of the agency at all times. Develops and implements systems to organize and monitor work activities. In conjunction with Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, or Executive Director maintain and/or enhance programmatic goals and objectives. Required to provide some direct services during periods of department staff shortages. Structures, implements and facilitates new employee on-the-job orientation as needed. Identify on-going staff training needs and provide training as needed. Monitor counselor maintenance of patient charts for adherence to quality assurance standards and clarity of documentation of patient’s progress in treatment. Facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups and document for each patient in attendance. Oversee case management, referral and referent contact services provided by counselors. Provide direct clinical treatment to assigned patients in a manner which meets quality assurance standards and is clear in its documentation of patient’s progress in treatment. Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Dependable Team-Oriented Service-Focused Professional Positive Committed to Helping Others Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology. Three (3) years’ experience working with Substance abuse. Supervisory experience. Two (2) years of social service management experience. CADC, LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW required. Other Qualifications: Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior. Physical ability to safely and effectively manage aggressive behavior. Assertiveness, confidence and leadership abilities. Effective oral and written communication skills. At least twenty-one (21) years of age Must have a valid Driver's License Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing. Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors. Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records. Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
