Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionPreferred• At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle • At least 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies - MUST• At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects• At least 3 years of experience in Design and Architecture review• At least 2 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Infosphere Governance Catalog • Must be aware about defining Catalog Permissions- Define Users, Roles and Access Levels• Create and Manage Workflow• Explore glossary assets, information assets and external assets as well as stewards, blueprints, and other catalog content Enhance existing metadata with descriptions and associations• Configure and execute Data and Business Lineage• Maintain Import-Export and data connections to the databases• Differentiate between Business, Technical and Operational Metadata• Design and Build category hierarchy for business vocabulary and governance policies• Design, configure and produce custom lineage reports and trace lineage from jobs and databases to business intelligence reports• Create extended data sources and mappings • Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment• Experience in Financial domain • Strong analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. QualificationsQualifications Basic• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
