Electronics Tester 2

As an Electronics Tester , you play an essential role testing our products during various stages within the production lifecycle, including automated and manual test stations and sub‑testing with troubleshooting at the board and component level. You also perform first‑level tests such as Hi‑Pot and Ground Continuity, both manual and automated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

Test using various equipment (scopes, meters, signal generators, power sources, etc.) Find and understand associated technical procedures needed. Navigate computer functions. Read detailed schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Perform board and component level troubleshooting.

SUPPORTIVE DEPARTMENT TASKS

Maintenance of test equipment and test stations. ESD Surface testing. Testing equipment calibrations, ionizer testing, and calibration inspections. Shelf‑life inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school. Three to six years of related experience OR a combination of relevant education, training, and experience. Must pass Electrical Safety Training and Technician Electrical knowledge test. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Proficient in internet/intranet, cross‑functional ERP software, the MS Office package, and other software programs. Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry; apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

SALARY RANGE

The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $21.00 and $24.00. The base pay is dependent upon training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands, and is subject to change.
