- Tractor-trailer operation and road safety
- ELD compliance and hours-of-service logging
- Pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- NIS Express company policies and dispatch procedures
- Weekly pay: $1,400 - $1,800 based on experience, route and miles driven
- Weekly direct deposit
- Safety and performance bonuses
- Home time weekly or bi-weekly depending on chosen fleet
- Late-model 2024-2025 Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with APUs
- Benefits after 30 days: medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance and AD&D
- 401(k) with company match after eligibility
- Paid holidays and PTO
- Pet and rider programs available
- Paid orientation
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Transport no-touch dry van freight - approximately 70% drop and hook
- Meet delivery appointments and maintain on-time performance
- Keep accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip reports
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues immediately
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Completion of 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school (drivers with a valid Class A CDL and no OTR experience are also welcome to apply)
- Acceptable driving record with a focus on safety
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen
