3rd Shift Maintenance Tech

SUMMARY:The Refrigeration Technician position will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing all aspects of the ammonia refrigeration system. Onsite hands-on training as well as ongoing continuing education will be provided for candidates based on experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Safe and efficient operation of the ammonia refrigeration systemPreventative maintenance inspections and calibrationsTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system problemsCommunication and coordination with PSM coordinator and site managementManage vendors and subcontractors as neededResponsible for maintaining and prioritizing system task list.REQUIREMENTS:A minimum of 3 years of experience working on industrial refrigeration systemsAttention to detail, organized, and strong troubleshooting skillsSelf-motivated, can work both independently and in a team environmentWilling to help train and develop other techniciansMust be able to pass requirements to wear a full-face respiratorPREFERRED SKILLS & TRAINING:Experience with controls, PLCs, and electrical schematicsRETA certifications (CARO, CIRO, CRST, CRES)Familiarity with JCI/Frick Control systems & JCI/Frick screw compressorsMicrosoft Word & Excel proficiencyFamiliarity with industry governing codes and standards such as IIAR, ASHRAE, PSM, RMP #J-18808-Ljbffr
