Position: Surgical Process Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Process Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical operations and ensuring a safe, efficient, and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Shift Details

• Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:30)
• Orientation: First three weeks of the contract will require working 1st shift (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) for orientation and familiarization with the unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the lifting and transporting of patients.
• Clean and turn over rooms after procedures.
• Support surgical staff by preparing materials and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• At least one year of customer service experience is required.
• A Permanent Ohio license or compact license must be in hand at the time of application.
• References must be from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty, and should be recent (within the past 12 months).

Additional Information

• All travelers must be free of nicotine; a negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of starting.
• Background checks are standard but will not accommodate any temporary holds or open cases.
• Candidates must complete required competency assessments upon orientation.
