Shift: Variable Day Shifts
Schedule: Flexible schedule consisting of 5x8-hour shifts, 4x10-hour shifts, or a combination of 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts, based on department needs. Scheduled hours fall between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM.
Weekend Requirement: On-call coverage including one full weekend per month
On-Call: 8–12 on-call days per month

Job Summary

McLaren Oakland is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory.

This position requires flexibility with scheduling and participation in an on-call rotation to support emergent cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities
Prepare and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Operate imaging and monitoring equipment while maintaining a sterile procedural environment.
Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including:
Cardiac catheterizations
Coronary and peripheral angiography
Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
Venography
Pacemaker insertions
Non-vascular interventional procedures
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including emergency procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
BLS (AHA) certification required
ACLS (AHA) certification required
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and interventional procedures
Ability to work flexible day shifts and participate in on-call coverage
